Our work in Malawi

In Malawi, JRS educates more than 5,000 children in the pre-primary, primary, and secondary schools of Dzaleka refugee camp, the largest in the country. JRS works with Jesuit Worldwide Learning in Dzaleka to bring a variety of educational initiatives to displaced persons. JRS Malawi also provides psychosocial and pastoral programmes to refugees requiring support for mental trauma, and maintains livelihoods programmes for adults.
