JRS Mozambique officially began its mission in December 2022, opening an office in the district of Chiure, Cabo Delegado Province.

In the host communities of Maningane and Meculane, JRS carries out educational and mental health activities for locals and internally displaced people, who were forced to flee their homes due to the escalation of attacks by insurgents.

Activities focus on Early Child Development and Primary Education.
