For two years, JRS Europe and its partners in nine countries conducted a research accompanyed by a public awareness campaign on how local societies are welcoming and including refugees. JRS Europe looked at 351 Community Building Initiatives (CBIs), and how they encouraged encounters and designed innovative ways to promote social inclusion thereby countering racism and xenophobia in society.
I Get You developed a series of Guidelines for Best Practices to be used by Community Building Initiatives as well as a series of Policy Recommendations for local, national and European level.
