In 2020, JRS served 1,049,781 refugees and forcibly displaced people in 57 countries with life-changing services – our most impactful year yet.

In the midst of a global pandemic, the commitment of our supporters and staff worldwide helped ensure the most vulnerable were not left behind. We set up a COVID-19 response programme to provide assistance during the COVID-19 emergency. We have promptly distributed food, emergency supplies, hygiene kits and personal protection equipment. We also installed handwashing stations in camps with insufficient sanitation, and provided pandemic-related advocacy services. At the same time, we were also able to adjust our programming and continue accompanying refugees with education, livelihoods, reconciliation, psychosocial support service, and all the other operations.

The 2020 Annual Report reminds us all of the hope and resilience of the people we serve, and the dedication and commitment of our donors and team members worldwide.
